Peridot has no server.

The short version

Peridot is built so that we never have your data. There are no accounts, no sign-up, and no Peridot servers. Everything you log — your name, cycle dates, and settings — is stored on your own device. We cannot see it, we do not collect it, and we have nothing to sell or share.

What we collect

From the app: nothing. Peridot does not transmit your personal or health information to us or to any third party. Specifically, we do not collect or have access to:

• your name or any contact details;
• the dates, durations, or any details of your cycles;
• your device's location, contacts, photos, or identifiers for advertising.

All of the above stays in a private database on your device.

Your data stays on your device

Peridot has no cloud sync and no backup service. Everything you log is written to a private database on your phone and stays there. If you want a copy — to keep, or to move somewhere else — Settings → Export my data writes your full history to a CSV file and hands it to your device’s share sheet. Where that file goes next is entirely your choice; it never passes through us.

Analytics and tracking

Peridot contains no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs and does not track you across apps or websites. The only metrics available to us are the anonymous, aggregate figures Apple and Google provide to every developer (for example, total downloads), which are computed on the stores’ side and never include your health data.

Payments

The one-time purchase to unlock Peridot is handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never receive or store your payment-card details; those are processed by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies.

Data retention and deletion

Because your data lives on your device, uninstalling the app removes it. You can also use Settings → Erase all data, which deletes the local database. There is no account for us to delete, because there is no account.

Children's privacy

Peridot is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Peridot’s predictions and cycle “phases” are estimates derived from the dates you log. They are not medical advice, not a diagnosis, and not a contraceptive or fertility tool. Do not rely on them to prevent or achieve pregnancy. Consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the date above and post the new version at peridotperiodapp.com/privacy.
